Blue Metallic 1973 Datsun 240Z, April 14, 1973. Seiran Blue 2023 Z, April 14th, 2023.
The new blue Z is a Performance, Graphite interior, and a "Paddle Shift Transmission"
(per another dealers advertisement).
Bought in Chicago, picked up on Monday morning (snowing earlier!) and drove same day to son's home in Kansas City. Will drive it to our home in N. California mid June via non-interstate highways. Mostly US Highway 50, rural Kansas, Colorado (Pikes Peak, Monarch Pass, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, etc), Utah and Nevada (the Loneliest Road in America, Lake Tahoe), then home to N. California. Road Trip!
Will take both Zs to ZCON in Ontario, CA this summer.

Showroom, Countryside Nissan, Chicago. 6 Miles on the Odometer.
Crossed the Mississippi at Hannibal, MO (hometown of Mark Twain - thought I saw Huck Finns raft go by...)
Arrival in KC. 536 Miles on the Odometer.

Always love these road trips! Keep us posted, and will see you at ZCON. I can relate to that 50th birthday, my '73 too, but not stock anymore, certainly worth less than your beauty. I won't have a 2023 by then though. Let's meet and chat.
