Back in 2003 my GF at the time bought a brand new 350Z base. I remember that car being super loud inside with road noise, like riding in a dump truck. The New Z is much quieter, not like a luxury car but not bad at all IMO. I have a Ram 2500 diesel that's way louder inside and my old 911 was way louder inside than the Z.
This is great to hear--I need to arrange a Z test drive--can anybody in Austin recommend a dealer who will allow a test-drive?

Hello all. I’m new to the Z community. I owned a 2004 G35 w/ a manual back in the day but this is my first Z. I’ve been in the market for a couple of years but just refused to pay any markup. Well the wait definitely paid off!

I was able to buy a brand new 2024 Z Sport w/ manual in Boulder Grey for thousands under MSRP. I ended up paying $39,990 plus TT&L with zero dealer add ons. It really made the Sport an intriguing choice at that price point. I haven’t bought a vehicle that wasn’t loaded in years. The stereo is absolutely TERRIBLE! The infotainment is the laggiest I’ve ever seen. I can definitely see why Nissan is struggling in that regard. Do I regret the purchase? ABSOLUTELY NOT!

The Z is as authentic of a drivers car that I have driven in years. You are truly one with the car. The seats are comfortable and the turbos kick on in a very linear fashion. I will definitely add a LSD at some point but I’m honestly really enjoying the old school feel that not having one provides. I owned a Corvette ZR-1 and the Z actual gives me more enjoyment.

It’s crazy that Nissan hasn’t sold many because it’s the epitome of driving perfection in my humble opinion. That being said, I do love the uniqueness of owning a car that was outsold by Lamborghini last year. I went to a local Cars & Coffee and the Z stole the show. Even the guy who owns a Ferrari walked over and was admiring. Show me another car that will draw as much attention and admiration in this price point. I’ll wait. In a sea of Mustangs, GR86’s, and Civics the Z stands out.
