I've never owned a car with such bad quality interior. I have the red/black leather seats in my 2023 Nissan Z and the edges are already starting to look black. I tried some leather care products hoping that it's just dirt but nope, looks the color has just faded away. So much for Japanese quality, they used the cheapest kind of synthetic leather on these cars.

Thoughts?

Leather seats in sports cars always seem to get damaged / fade quickly as they take a beating from getting in and out and being so low to the ground most people rub on the bolsters, use them as a crutch to get in and out. I agree, pics would help.

All my cars and my airplane have leather seating surfaces. Pretty common to see that...dyes from clothing rubbing off on the surface. The harder it is to get in and out, the more likely the discoloration.

Yeah unfortunately the leather they used on these seats isnt topnotch... The red color especially on the edges, fades pretty fast. Id try investing in better leather care products like Colourlock or Gliptone. I’ve had some luck conditioning the leather every few weeks, and if you spill anything, clean it ASAP. But if the damage is too far gone, you might need professional restoration, but that can get pricey.
From my experience, act fast, because once it gets worse it's hard to fix. Also protect those seats from sunlight as much as you can. Best of luck to you(y)

I'll be honest, the seat "wear" just looks like dirt, is it actually worn through the color? Side bolster looks like rubbing from getting in and out but not bad at all. Is the leather not actually dye'd here?
