Odd design choice by Nissan

One day I decided to top off my engine coolant. I accidentally added too much and found some of it will leak out this port on the right side of the tank when the engine is at temperature. I added a hose to allow the excess coolant to drain to the bottom of the car towards the ground instead of on engine components.

PS: yes the catch can isn't installed quite correctly and I will fix it soon
