Damn! Do you remember it happening?

My wife makes fun of me because if that was me, I wouldn’t even want to drive my Z until it was fixed. She thinks I have issues.

Yeah. Definitely my fault. I was parallel parking backing in, and got too close. I took a quick look when it happened, but I didn't notice anything then. The angle was probably wrong.

I wouldn't say "issues", I'd call it enthusiasm. Pa-tay-toe, Pa-tah-toe. I guess I have issues, too. We're enthusiasts. We want our cars to look nice.

That's very minor, should be an easy fix.
Yeah, I've done worse.

It was the first damage on mine. Even smaller but still uuuugly.
Mine's over a year now. She's got a few small pits in the windshield, some scuffs on the interior trim, and now this. No matter how careful I am, I still make mistakes.

Nothing touched by the hand of man can be or stay perfect. Just try to remind yourself it's a car and meant to be enjoyed out in the world and not just enclosed away in a garage somewhere. I know it's hard. I'm the same way as you.

I'm glad to see I'm not alone 🤣

I'll head down to my detailer to see if he can clean it up.
There are wheel shop3 that can make that rash disappear. If you can find one in your area that is good, you will be happily surprised and the cost is reasonable.

Had an expert come fix this today. Looks as good as new.
