Rev Match

Has anyone successfully disabled the Rev-Match? I know some people may like it. I find it very annoying and do not need this. Having an assist with a clutch. Defeats the purpose of a manual. I know there is a button. However, it really does not disable it, or at least not on mine. I'm sure I could figure this out. I was looking to see if it has been done yet.

I hated SynchroRev Match when I first got the car, but it's grown on me. I recall turning it off early on. I'll turn it off tomorrow (doing a road trip) and report back.

What I'm not a fan of is hill start assist, and I don't think it can be turned off. I often feel like I'm fighting the brakes to get going.

Con confirm. Note also the S next to the gear indicator. If it's there SynchroRev Match is on. If the S is missing, SRM is off.

There is a distinct difference in the driving experience.
