What is this weird sound? (Double chirpy air horn sound) It happens rarely whenever a door or the hatch is open. I've tried to replicate the sound for over an hour, couldn't get it to happen except in this video.

Checked the steering wheel, which locks right away and wasn't making the sound.
I tried opening doors and just waiting; unlocking with the fob; with the door button...

I also checked the gas cap, the sound seems to be coming from the driver side, maybe under the car.

The timing of it varies from the door being immediately open, to after a few moments, but it doesn't happen every time. Nothing seems to be wrong I'm just curious to know what it is just to know.

It's a 2024 Performance auto
Thanks.

Does it happen as you're getting in or out of the car? Maybe a squeaky suspension component?

Mine talks to me when I get in and out of it. I think it's telling me to lose weight. It also makes that funky noise when the window goes up and down to clear the weather strip. Awhile back I did have a whining noise, but a divorce fixed that one.

It's kind of half and half. But I was able to do it again when I locked the car, then open the passenger door

I want to try to hear the same thing from my car, but I don't think I understand the sequence yet. I think you've said:

1. You lock the car.
2. You open the door from the outside (after being open for awhile).
3. The problem happens.

This doesn't seem like the whole sequence. Is there a step missing? I don't understand how you can open the door from the outside if the car is locked. Am I missing something?

I've heard a similar noise from the rear wheels, for me it was some play in the handbrake shoes when the handbrake is on.
I get this, too. But it's more of a creaking sound, not at all like chirp chirp air horn sound in the video clip.

Lock with the key fob, then unlock via proximity from the key fob. (Pressing the door button)
Though I was only able to make it happen twice out of 5 times.

This time when I recorded, it happened right as I closed the door, which made it seem like it was the window going up. I did it again and got no sound.

In the video of post #1 it definitely sounds like an electronic sound with a double chirp.

In the first video of post #11, I heard the same electronic chirp, but only one?

I didn't hear any chirp in the second video of post #11.

Just a wild guess: is your hood closed all the way? Both passenger and driver side of the hood? If it's not, maybe it's a noise trying to alert you to a fault enabling the alarm.

have you ever heard the sound occur more than once?
does it only happen after some time, or can it happen pretty soon after a door being opened?

what I'm thinking is that it could be a feature which alerts/reminds of a door being open after x amount of time? I'd suggest setting a timer from the time you open a door until the time the sound occurs. Although I've never heard this sound when washing my car and having doors open.

in the 0:03 video you shared in post #11, it sounds like it happened simultaneously to when you closed the door. interesting

Yeah it was twice, the phone didn't really pick up the sound well there. The hood looks fine but I can try opening it and closing again to make sure it's closed. Thanks.
And yeah the second video was just to show that it wasn't the window
