My daily is an FJ, and my wife drives a Honda passport. But, I will be getting another “sporty” car. Something with a little more leg room. Looking at the q60 size.

I love it, and if I fit a little better, I would enjoy it even more. It wasn’t my daily driver, but I want to take road trips in it and it got to where I didn’t want to take it on an 1hr 45 min road trip to Charleston. Don’t need the space for kids (grown). But need something with a little more room. (6’3”-235) just doesn’t fit for extended drives.
Bummer man. I am 6'1" and 250. Not small at all and I do just fine in the Z. Already done a couple road trips. Don't get me wrong, it is snug but I have head room and can stretch my legs out ALMOST all the way... well my left leg anyways if I go up under the dash 😂

Anyways I get it, these two-seater coupes are definitely not built for us bigger fella's but it was actually a selling point for me is how much better I fit in it than other two-seater sports cars.

wondering if there are still any stealerships still asking $10-20k over msrp 🤣
Reed Nissan in Clermont, FL, has a red NISMO with an MSRP of $68,300 listed at $76,300...and that's with a $2,500 Nissan discount. Based on the VIN it may have been there a while, idk. Not many red ones out there so maybe that's a factor.

Only speaking from my experience here...
Got my eye on a new NISMO. Had convo's recently (2-4 weeks ago) with multiple dealerships and the vast majority of what you see online is, unsurprisingly, trickery. In general the best deal within 250 miles of me has been a cash price (tax, tag and all) a tad over original MSRP. Not horrible, but thousands more than you think it would be going off of their advertized numbers.

Some dealerships are offering what appear to be tremendous discounts, but they're charging most of it back. One I saw last night had an $11,700 "dealer discount" but then a $4K 'dealer package,' $1,995 for something, $195 for nitrogen (highest I've seen that one!)... It was an $11,700 discount and they added $9K back in BEFORE tax/tag/title. Negotiation aside, the other side of the discount situation is it would take a special individual to qualify for all of it. Max Nissan Rewards, max Nissan Loyalty, trade-in that's not old and low miles, finance through Nissan (APR!), recent college grad, military, etc.

My main thing right now is I'll have to finance probably half of it. I have excellent credit, but I feel like rates are ridiculous. Planning to finance $25K-$30K is one thing. Negotiating with a dealer only to realize it's more like $35K-$40K has caused me to back off and continue to plan. And I haven't had a car payment since 2009 (2003 Super Black, Track), which is another mental hurdle to overcome.
