The illuminated kick plates are nice, but I love the scuff guards. The carbon fiber guards are a very nice touch to finish out the interior. I’ve gotta find some weather tech (or similar) floor mats soon.
I took delivery of my Friday evening and drove it around a bit on Saturday. After owning 2020 Supra for 3 1/2 years, I was interested in seeing how the 2 vehicles compare. Short story is you can definitely tell the difference in BMW/Toyota vs Nissan. Here are some of my initial comparisons and...
Nice! I've got the verus front splitter on mine as well. Tried standing on it to make sure it's as strong as advertised and it definitely is. Only problem I have with it is coming or going to/from places with an incline it scrapes or if I pull just a little too far forward and it hits.
At this point I've given up on the Z. I'll be selling my Supra soon to help get either a 2018/2019 Porsche GT3, a 2020-2022 Porsche GT4, or a 2020-2022 Porsche 911 Carrera S. Ready to move up in performance.
I love the retro styling merging different generations together to bring us, the consumers, a beautiful car. It should make for a great daily and fun weekend warrior, or a great track car for those that actually track their vehicles. I’ve gone back and forth many time this year on buying...
I forgot it doesn’t have wireless charging. Seems like every new vehicle I’ve seen recently comes standard with a charging pad so makes no sense that the Z doesn’t have one.
Programming the lighting, bells and chimes would be fun to program for different driver profiles based on which key is...
Honestly a little disappointed it doesn't have a HUD to go with the other tech it offers. I forget my Supra has one a lot of times, but I do enjoy using it when I remember it's there and at night. Cooled seats are great in hot areas (I live in north Texas and love them in my daily F-150) but can...
When I visited in June, Nissan was there the day before so Z1 could do 3d scans. Was told they were going to have a number of parts ready for the release (parts were laid out on tables to present to the Nissan reps). It's going to be exciting to see what Z1 and other aftermarket manufacturers...
Honestly that does seem like low fuel economy for cars today. My F-150 hybrid gets 18mpg and my A90 Supra was averaging 27mpg when I daily drove it (highest has been 30mpg on a 3 hour drive at 80mph). I know we don't buy sports cars for fuel economy, but for those daily driving it wouldn't hurt.
I enjoyed my Ranger for a midsize truck, but wanted something bigger for road-trips and maybe camping in the future. I’ve got the generator set up on the F-150.
Man I feel you on the R32. I kick myself in the ass for not getting one when they were that cheap.
I got a 2022 F-150 Lariat. The ventilated seats are great with this Texas heat. Traded my Ranger for something bigger with more features.
The R32 is on my bucket list, but I’m always tempted to get another Z32.
I recently bought a new daily so with market adjustments and dealer mark ups I may just wait another year or get an R32 GTR for a project while I mod my Supra some more.
Pricing add-ons as expected. Shipping falls in line with what was leaked recently, and the recent photo of the yellow Z's in port falls in line as well. The Z was at Clay Cooley Nissan earlier this month. Haven't heard of it being at any other DFW dealerships though. I really think Nissan is...
Got a shiny new thing to daily. 2022 F150 Lariat (almost fully loaded). AC seats are gonna be nice in this Texas heat. This will help me wait a little longer for the Z to hit dealerships.
I've waited and saved long enough that I'm ready to try and exotic car. Don't feel like waiting for something we don't know for sure when it will come out or in what quantities.
