I don't care at all for the rest of the kit. I hope it's an oversight that the flares are not listed separately.
Hopefully @Darkhorse has something more to say.
They stopped offering most colour options in 2023 in Australia. They fulfilled many of the outstanding orders, but weren't taking new orders. I may have got the last white one - ordered in November 2021, delivered in March 2024. I was told in mid 2023 that I might not be able to get it in white...
I haven't seen anywhere that provides OEM stickers. Tried to find these, GT4 stripes and GT stripes.
Betcha you can find some repros on etsy.
Edit: You could go to a wrap/signwriter and have those printed. It's two straight lines and a badge, I doubt anyone could tell the difference..
And it stays off!
Agreed. I'm looking forward to turning these off. Wish I could be rid of hill assist too. I fight with it every time, it's so unintuitive after driving so long with old fashioned handbrake/clutch control.
My panels/Katanas line up well. My black roof is a mess and is...
The configurer on the Australian Nissan website allowed yellow/red spec. It allowed red on every colour. I played with it for quite a while...
There are only 4 colours available now, though (Rosewood, Gun, Black and Silver/Black). They all allow red interior. There was never an option for blue...
I don't think it should be let go. If there's any hope that anyone, anywhere with some authority might be listening, then every opportunity should be taken to say something.
The supra wasn't ever getting a manual transmission. It got one because people spoke up. The Current Z got one because...
I already looked into this about a year ago. I wanted the aero from the 2023 GT4.
Short answer: No.
Long answer: if you buy a GT4 ready race car, you can get limited spare parts for it. Every spare part sale is strictly monitored, so you can't really even buddy up with someone who races one...
Not even. The only reason I didn't change my order to a Nismo was the lack of manual transmission.
I have no issue with people choosing auto, but it's shameful a manual transmission wasn't offered.
Good luck. Hopefully the dealership can order them from the factory as part of their warranty claim. They should have a contact they can talk to in corporate and or Japan.
I can't just get the cover from a reseller for cheap, anyway. I'd have to buy from an overseas seller and pay high shipping and import duties. It still works out far cheaper for me just to pay what the dealer are asking.
It's not even about the dealer upselling me, they're only offered as a...
My dealer catalogue shows the struts are required. As such, they wouldn't sell me my cover without the struts also. It may work fine without them, but the extra load must put the standard struts outside their rated safe limits.
You may never have a problem with the stock struts. I'm not going...
I didn't think I'd want them, but even with a tint and the aircon on high anything I have in the boot gets cooked.
The car's pretty retro, anyway. I think they're a great fit.
Three layers of different whites including pearl and fleck layers. New paint facility and new "environmentally friendly" application methods. A recipe for disaster, especially in Nissan's hands..
It looks fantastic up close, though. Not just a basic white.
The problem with mine is not the...
Because they couldn't get the paint right on the tri-coat colours. They focused on getting the simpler colours out first. The white was apparently the worst of them.
Mine has to go back under warranty because the paint still isn't right. I don't know how it passed inspection.
I tried to order blue/blue but Nissan wouldn't let me so I ordered white/red.
I ordered mine about 2.5 years ago, and only got it over Easter a couple of weeks ago.
