135mph in my Proto. 147mph in my Nismo. Big difference between these two cars of course. The biggest thing that bothered my in the Proto was they way the air flow moves the hood. Appears that there is so much air coming in from the big open front grill that it pushes up on the hood at high speeds making it look like it could detach. Maybe thats the hood poppers design causing that tho. Nismo felt Great at high speed.
I actually noticed the hood jiggle too. My Rogue did it as well at higher speeds. I remember reading somewhere a few years ago that Nissan had issues with their vehicles (I think it was mainly the Juke) having hoods that would flip up at higher speeds so they re-designed the hood latch. The result of this was many Nissans hoods' now wobble / jiggle when driving fast but they are actually more secure.

To be real. Unless you have a parachute and harness with helmet on the dome. Any road vehicle speeding past 130mph on a public road just isn't safe and healthy for anyone. I had the little 4pot type r at 144 and it's topped is 169mph more than a hell cat and mustang GT.

I got up to 120, let off to clear the road to 112, then punched it and it climbed up to 130 quick then I chickened out and backed off.

I cannot imagine hitting 150. Although it felt like 130 was no issue for the car, smooth as can be.
Smart man

I can say that my Z Performance has poor downforce at over 135mph. Once the car hits 140mph it wants to float off the ground.
^This!

As much as i love accelerating and flying super fast. It gets nervy at around +220km/h. Just like many here, i usually let off, because I'm scared hahahaha

I find my car well planted at 130+ speeds. Even throwing the anchor out at said speeds is fine. I contribute this to not a precision alignment but a very good one and proper tire inflation. I'm very acclimated to these speeds from when I road raced motorcycles. I would encourage anyone to take advantage of track events to experience the (the biggest killer) closure rates and threshold braking at 100+ speeds. If any of that exceeds your comfort level do us all a favor and stay in the right lane.

Proper aero kit should fix that I believe.
got some aero bits (front lip, side skirts and rear diffuser)on the way, just not the wing. Also got the suspension with the front lower then the rear. Hoping after the aero installs, it'll feel a little more comfortable

Ok all happens in Mexico - Cars sweet spot to me is between 95-130 over 130 (someone mentioned floating) the car loses front bite which I attribute to aero. Had close to limiter but haven't hit - waiting for tune. It's 60-130mph speed is not crazy impressive (don't kill me) which is my fav. It doesn't compare with my M6 2015 Hellcat with a 191,000 miles (orig owner) - it would walk the Z as I have walked VR30 Q's - that is stock as my Cat is stock. Putting on new 3pc rear spoiler (Kuhl) shortly and think about some type of new front spliter. Best car I've driven in Mexico at 186 that was still pulling and solid as shit was E60 M5 with S85 V10 - tuned and other stuff.

I haven't yet installed the underbody plastic parts ( wind diverters ?? 2 in front of wheels, and a longer rounded part? ) I wonder if these help downforce?

Probs - anything that breaks up flow like diffusers helps create DF I belive. Trick is to make bottom as "slick/covered" and front diffuser along with rear diffuser and wings and splitters help DF. Canards can help also. Wish someone would make "tested" add ons, that would be cool

Here is an AI generated video of a tuned Z (definitely not mine) doing a 7th gear pull from 130-175. Robot said it felt stable, and it's got a few pounds of boost to go.

My AI likes your AI. My AI also wants to generate videos of a Z time attacking certain roads.
