Maybe someone can explain this to me. I went to the Nissan dealership and saw the brand new 2024 Z Sport in black color. I was extremely excited that they had it in black because that was the color I wanted. It was the only Z model at the dealership and it was on the inside of the showroom. I like the Sport model because it did not have the rear spoiler. I like the clean look of the Sport model without many parts hanging on the body.

The price sticker on the Sport was $50K and I told the salesperson I will come back later and make a decision. 3 hours later I came back to the dealership and they boosted the price sticker to $60K!!

I was like, WHAT!!!!! I told the salesperson it was $50K 3 hours ago! He told me because the 2024 Nissan Z is a rare car and the cost just went up. He told me that there were only 1200 of the new Z. Now I have to pay the extra $10K to buy the 2024 Z Sport model. Does that not sound like a scam to you???

In the end, I love the 2024 Z Sport so much because it's the best looking car out today beside a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, I ended up paying over $60K+ to drive it home. I am happy with the 2024 Z Sport but not happy that I had to pay the extra $10K.
Ya I got my Performance Z for $52,000 base price. No mark-up. I added a lot of options, which brought the total , including tax. $62,000. Sorry to hear you had to pay $10,000 more. Sickening! On the upside, it’s a great car, and you will have lots of fun 😁

...an extra 20k right? My performance was 55+ tax call it 60k. The base trim starts in the mid 40s

Ouch! A_Hole dealer! Shoulda shopped around more. And don't be afraid to travel out of state. I've saved thousands doing that.

I think this car is slightly modified

Wow! I just watched the whole video and the driver got up to 302 KPH. That's above 187 MPH.Of course... it was done in a closed race circuit. Too bad I don't know Japanese and there were no subtitle options in English. I wanted to find out if the engine had any mods do to it.

according to Nissan its 136 for the sport 155 for the performance and 173 for the NISMO
This is true for the sport. I have a 2024 Nissan z sport consistently topping out at 138 mph with a Z1 Motorsports hot box plug-in tune that increases boost PSI by 3

I have a Nismo and its limited at 155, this is super annoying as it gets there really fast. Will a tune disable the limiter?

I am wondering why would Nissan build a sports car with a V6 engine and add TWIN TURBO to get everyone excited only to put a limiter on the engine???

Doesn't make sense to me. We pay for it and we want the full power or full potential of what this sports car can really achieve.

Nissan must take the limiter off of all the 2023-2024 Z models!!!

GIVE US ALL THE GLORY!!! ha ha ha

That's weird as Nissan says 173 for the nismo vs 155 for the performance

I’m guessing the sport is limited due to smaller wheels and brakes.

its the lack of rear spoiler and front under spoiler.

most people dont know this but eve the performance Z with the spoilers generates a tiny amount of lift at speeds over like 120ish

Its definitely 155, its a soft limiter that cuts power at exactly 155 and reengages at 150. I would be ok wit 173 but the car is still pulling hard at 155. Sooo annoying.

thats interesting so only thing I can think of is the quote of 173 came from Tamura-San so maybe he meant that is what its a capable of and didnt realize the US market puts a restriction on it. in Japan they are all limited to like 118 or something like that. NISMO Japan actually makes an ECU for our cars that removes the limiter. its called NISMO sports resetting package

There is a front under spoiler for the Sport model. I will get a picture and post it in a few minutes. When I look underneath the front of the Sport, there is a spoiler hanging down about 2 inches thick.

I got a chance to look underneath the front of the Z and it looks like there are 3 spoilers underneath the front. There is the main front underneath spoiler and 2 smaller spoilers for the LEFT and RIGHT side underneath the Z Sport.

I am not sure if the Performance and Nismo got the 3 spoilers underneath as well???
