Hmmm , so it's starting to seem more and more that any average joes getting a Z in the next few months is completely off the table. I really think 4 to 6 months is when they'll start hitting the dealerships in any legitimate quantities. It's April , and not a single new development from Nissan
We still got two days left in March..there is hope yet….yes I’ll admit, dwindling, life sucking, depressingly low amount of hope…but hope all the same ?

I've pretty much resigned myself to not being able to get a MY '23 Z. Hopefully the hype will die down a bit along with ADM's by the time the '24 Z's go on sale. Plus any design or manufacturing bugs should be worked out by then.

I just hope the Ichazuki Yellow will be available for '24.

I don't envision a Z available in my driveway until 2024. And for me, that's oceans of time. Sadly, I've seen a number of unfortunate things happen to people the past few years. So I don't take for granted 2024, what my situation will be then, or if I will still be a Z customer. It's a shame the Z is not available this summer, would have been a lot of fun. Time is the most precious commodity.

Hi all, new here. Put my deposit down on a Performance Automatic this past weekend. I can tell of a few things with my experience. My dealer told me they were slated to receive 80 or so Zs by early 23, and 60ish are already spoken for. Being on the back end of that list, I was told late 22 arrival. As far as pricing, they believed it to be around $45k for a Perf Auto Black/Black, no markups. Of course they can always go back on the no markups, and if that's the case I will walk, but as of now it seems my dealer (very large) is expecting decent sized inventory going into early next year and keeping the price fair.
Where are you located and what dealership claimed this? I'm interested in speaking with them if possible depending on their area. Speaking with some big dealer groups in Cali, Florida, and Virginia I haven't heard a number that big. Though we still don't know for certain who is getting what and how many. Would love to speak with them though.

For your sake I hope it's not 2024. I'm hoping by mid 2023 production will be at least 30-40% for Nissan.

I can only imagine that you'd like to speak with them!

Curious question (as dealers position themselves strategically): How many Zs and GTRs did your dealership sell both in 2019 and 2020? Or whenever you ran out of stock? I am curious to understand more about the relation between past sales performance of an entire dealership and any indication that might give to current allocation of 2023 Zs? Any thoughts?

I will have to do some digging to get 2019 numbers. The auto group I work for didn't own the store till 2020. Allocations are to traditionally be placed based on sales for sports car models from previous years.

Same here. And because I refuse to pay over MSRP, it pretty much guarantees I won't be getting a new Z anytime soon.

So, I put in a build-to-order request for a 2022 Miata... hopefully the ETA is still within 10 weeks.

This right here. When I first started on this website, my goal was to get the Z by Summer. Now? This is looking like a pipe dream. I'm coming to the realization that I'm just not getting this car anytime soon and I'm not waiting. It's looking more likely that I'm going to go for the GR86. I'll revisit Nissan down the road. Like you said...its all about time and I want to have my fun now.

I have already started the works on a plan B. I'm going to lease a Jeep Wrangler 4xe especially since the deals on them are stupid good and most people are flipping them for profit after driving them a few thousand miles. It sucks since I was hoping I was gonna be able to put an order in by the end of this month. But I simply can't wait anymore.
