Don't you guys go by liters though? Converted, you guys are paying $5.67 / gallon (AUD). In USD I think that works out to about $4.19 /gallon. In the North East we're paying about $3.30 / gallon (USD).

It makes me sad to think that these test cars will probably get crushed after the testing phase is complete.

Maybe not all of them. Toyota gave out some of the Zupra test cars to companies like HKS and GReddy for R&D purposes and some were transformed into drift cars.
