Yea! They look better. Thanks for the pictures. They helped me decide.
You will love the quality and look and mostly the sound. It's like the car comes alive after being muted. It's like watching a Stars Wars movie at IMAX muted .

This is timely. I just got my new 24 Z delivered and the first thing I do is crank it up -- and get immediately disappointed. The manual Z is way, way, way too quiet. It reminded me of the last rental car I had...which I can't even remember, because it was so non-descript.

Gotta solve this asap somehow - whether it's replacing the manual silencer with the factory AT axel-back or this solution
When my Stillen Street series exhaust arrives. If it is too quiet, I'm slapping two of these in.

New member here. I appreciate all the information I was able to find on the forum before pulling the trigger. Anyway ....

Just bought a new 2024 Performance 6-speed. Beautiful car, and plenty powerful. My biggest gripe is the sound, or lack thereof. Not looking for anything obnoxious. Just looking for recommendations to mildly upgrade the sound without spending a lot or voiding the factory warranty. Also wondering how tricky the installation is and whether it's reversible.

BTW, my second-biggest gripe is the lightness of the steering, especially at low speeds. I thought that would be addressed by driving in Sport mode. But then I discovered that Sport mode isn't offered in manual-transmission cars. (What's that all about?) Just curious if there's a workaround that allows you to add some weight to the steering.

Thanks!
Hi Socman,
Yeah I know what you mean about the light steering thing. I've had my Z for over a year now and the floaty steering bugged me for ages. Over here in Aus we have had a major outbreak of pothole disease with local tyre shops struggling to keep up with repairs. I decided to get immunised and got a spare wheel/tyre jack etc to avoid being left on the side of the road. Here's the interesting bit which I cannot explain... Floatsy steering has completely gone. It sounds counter-intuitiuve to put extra weight in the back but i kid you not! I am so much happier with the drive now. I no longer feel like I have to have both hands on the wheel. As an extra bonus, the bass also seems better now with the big polysterene underfloor packing gone and the subwoofer tucked neatly inside the wheel. Killed two birds with one stone!

How interesting!
I would definitely add that set up. I think it's the smart thing to do.

That's really bizarre! I didn't even realize a full-size spare will fit in the car. And are you talking about a serious floor jack as well? Sounds crazy. But if it works ....
