Where is your oil on the dipstick if ypu dont mind me asking?
You’re not asking me, but mine was on the line from the factory, but from the dealer is a little over the line. I’m about to change it with High Performance Lubricants top tier 0W-20. Curious now to see if it’s on the line or not using what the manual says.

My oil level is exactly at top mark. however, this is the ‘factory fill’ as I’ve not yet changed the oil, only 1,100 miles.
if you’ve changed your oil & level shows in the middle of the High & Low dots, you are fine. I’d only add If it were at thelower dot.
watch it closely as you use the car. I’ll bet that the level does not change at all

I have changed my oil a few times already. I use a GTR filter and fill up to 6 qts and its at the full mark. I jack the front end up on 2 jack stands and drain. Seems to be accurate to what the owners manual suggests with filter change

I can see it being halfway on the stick if you lift the driver side up and tilt the engine to the right and drain. You are draining a little more oil compared to a flat drain

I have the mindset to keep the oil at the full mark. If it was me, I would fill it to the full mark. If you are above the full mark, dont be nervous. You can leave it in since it wont do any damage. When I do lapping days at my local track, I add a half a qt. This helps with oil starvation when doing high Gs in corners. I leave it until my next oil change

The issue with overfilling is that the oil touches the crank and starts splashing, which causes bubbles. You will need to add 2 extra qts for this to occur. With air in the oil, less lubrication to the parts and premature wear and tear can occur
