I’m interested in purchasing a spoiler for my 2024 Z. I found an HKS spoiler but haven’t been able to find much detailed information or images of the ducktail on a Z—there are currently only about two images available, which HKS sent me via email.

By chance, does anyone have more images of this specific spoiler so I can get a better sense of how it looks on the vehicle? The price tag is significantly higher than others on the market, and with so little showcase in the community, it’s hard to confidently pull the trigger on a purchase.

I’m in the same boat as you. Want a good looking and functional setup. Don’t want to break the bank for no reason. Don’t want a spoiler that just sticks on with tape. I wonder if this one is a bolt on like the factory?

This is probably one of the reasons it’s more expensive (being structurally sound and bolting down where a lot of them just stick on) ? Also it is made by HK$ so you need to sell some blood to pick one up, or maybe just your first born?

Yes, but also HKS has built a name as well to have higher prices. Don't get me wrong I like HKS stuff but some of the pricing is a bit high in my opinion. If we can get enough people interested I can let my team know there's interest in these spoilers and see if we can't make something structural sturdy as well and be a little cheaper.

Yeah. I have nothing against HK$ except for the fact that some of their stuff is a little high in price. I know they are a good quality company that has been in the business for a long time. The problems is when quality difference is non existent but the price is 50-100% higher. So you end up paying a lot of money for the name to be stamped into the product.

After consent emails with a supplier and HKS, it turns out the original images I was sent were of the demo car, which was still in development at the time. The production images listed for retail show a [Tuned by HKS]

Now I’m trying to figure out how to deal with it, since I’m not a fan of the branding as I think it really takes away from the overall aesthetic. I’m considering ways removing the badge or covering it up with something else, but I haven’t decided yet. I do like the design itself, so I’m hesitant to go through the return process just because of this detail. Also to note the letter is actually embedded within the clear epoxy layers.

I don’t blame you. I wouldn’t like that either .
