The highest I've seen up to 4000rpm to day was 56psi. Lowest at idle for me is 23psi. I'm using full synthetic 5W-30

Has there been a single engine loss on this forum?

Good question. Haven't heard of any issues yet... well the GR86 has the RTV gasket leaking into the block causing failures here and there. The only rock solid Motor still with no defects or issues is the Great K20c in the FK8 and FL5 Type Rs.

So just unplugging the solonoid will allow it to be stuck open? Based off what I read, it seems like it's the opposite.
I wonder if there is a solonoid delete kit just like there is a hood popper delete kit...
I've read the same thing. Even had a tuner from one of the highest regarded Z shops tell me, Just disconnect it, nothing else to do. Now I read that it throws a light which requires going into the ECU to turn off.

Yeah, see we don’t even know if the device is normally closed or normally open. I wish we could find more about what it is and what it’s doing so we can decide how to resolve it. I’ve heard explanations, but they don’t include usable info beyond it’s a solenoid controlling oil flow. When? How? Why?
