Picked up my Z this morning and didn’t notice the pinstriping (tape, not paint) until I got home. Z is black, the striping is dark grey. It starts a few inches in front of the side mirrors and follows the bottom of the windows and ends at the katana.
Is this on all colors?
Does it serve any purpose or have some significance?
My first thought was to peel it off before it’s baked on by the FL sun.

A pinstripe has to be dealer add on. Should pull right off

I feel like pinstriping is old school. I’d love to see a pic.

How about you share a few pics of that pinstriping?

Im sure it's just a dealer add to pump up the price. I bought my Z last week, and the dealer did window tint as an add on, so some dealers add stuff to increase the price.

I'm old school, haha, and I've been wondering about a red pinstripe on my black Z. It would match calipers. Or a silver to match the roof line, and my after-market rims.
Something to accent the solid black.

Do yourself a favor and peel those off before they permanently damage the paint. I made the mistake of leaving dealer installed pinstripes on my truck. By the time I removed them, the damage was done. I tried wet sanding and buffing, but it did not work. You can still see them ghosted into the finish. I even went through in one spot due to how much it raised the paint. I am looking to have an old school sign painter to add something to mine. I had him do cars for me 30+ years ago when I was showing at car shows.
