If you ever remove ice, mud, mist, etc. from vehicle windows and you wear rings or other hand jewelry, be careful.
I trashed a windshield on my last car because my brushed tungsten wedding ring barely touched the windshield wiping ice off.
Gold has about half the hardness of glass, whereas tungsten is 50% harder. I’ve been debating just switching to gold. I’m a bit reckless with my hands, the type that never wears gloves and generally is a bull in a china shop then regrets not having gloves and work clothes on. Impatient would be the correct word.
Anyway, you can check hardness with Mohr and Vickers scales. Don’t be me.
