Remote start/intelligent key

Z family, question for you all. Do all new Z ‘s come with remote start or is this based on model etc. or what is enabled via the intelligent key app?

I was under the impression that remote start came with the car and enabled via the intelligent key app but in talking to the dealership, it apparently cannot be added to the car after the fact. Honestly, don’t have any faith in the guy sitting behind the parts /service counter. Any additional insight to this would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve been told the module for auto start on the new Z is available yet sadly.

I take you meant “isn’t” available brother?

Non availability of the modules seems a bit odd as I’ve seen 2023 Z models in a few YouTube videos that show the fob buttonology to start it remotely.

You've got bamboozled, unfortunately remote start doesn't come OEM. I've looked into getting a Viper Security alarm & Remote start, and they dont even have support for that

I think I know what YT vid you watched. It was a hoax on remote start. Probably the same vid when the windows auto rolled down by the fob. Someone was in the car both times

so the "turbo button" used to pull zupr4s is fake too?

The windows rolling down is a real feature when you hold down the unlock button, but remote start isn't on the sport model at least but might be on the performance model as that comes with the app.

That app does not support remote start because it's not installed in the Zs at all. No remote start from factory is available.
