That's what I figured - the Ikazuchi is a "banana-yellow" metallic paint, and the Chicane is a non-metallic "mustard" tone more similar to the MKV Supra's yellow offering.

I was thinking of a partial wrap as a homage to BRE liveries. My car will be black so ghost the number in a flat grey, make the blue and red stripes flat and do the hood, roof and hatch in a similar color to the number. I was thinking of that type of spoiler anyway and there a few options like this out there. Thoughts?

When @MCN1SMO said these might be coming as replacement colours I wasn't that impressed.
I think particularly the red and yellow look dull and old on the 370s. (and I own a red 370 which I love)
These renders don't look too bad though

At this point I'll take any red vs no red lol. Although I'm a bit surprised because they recently did release 5 Nismo Zs in passion red. They're probably having a lot of difficulty making the color due to them automating the process and switching to water based paints I think. Also something was up with the curing process.

Is it me, or does the Chicane Yellow look a bit like a piece of construction equipment next to the Ikazuchi Yellow?

I like both Reds.

I prefer Seiran Blue, but I'd buy Wangan Blue if that was the only Blue.

I'd really hope for a Green, Orange, or Purple color at some point. I'm glad to have bought a Seiran Blue - as it was one of the release colors and is a crazy color. I will say, the black roof portion of the rear hatch appears & feels to be a film/wrap. I'm not sure about the roof.

In regards to the new colors, they have to keep things fresh somehow - or differentiate the model years? I do like the look of the 2 tone with black roof, and the 3 colors being replaced were all sold at premiums. So maybe the new colors won't cost extra.

My picks:

Vibrant Red > Passion Red - I prefer solid bright red. Think AW11 MR2

Chicane Yellow > Ikazuchi Yellow - I always see yellow Supras and Domestic cars and wondered what an RZ34 would look like in a more common yellow. Ikazuchi was cool for proto and global launch purposes

Serian Blue > Wangan Blue - I do like how Wangan Blue looks though. I won't be upset if Seiran Blue had only a 2 year production run

They should try coming out with a metallic purple. The 2025 c8 has a new purple exterior option.

I think id have to make a trade of we got a purple Z

Wangan blue is disappointing.

I googled it and Bayside kept coming up but this makes more sense. I would be very disappointed with this change but what can I do.

Wangan is bayside in Japan both share the RCB color code.
