Has anybody done a Muffler Delete on their 23-24 Z? I'm assuming it will make it a little bit louder? I'm not trying to compete with teenagers out there. Just need to get some sound back to my ears in order to make my manual driving easier.

Thanks.

I considered Takeda and a few others.
They all seemed pretty expensive for what they were.
Had my local exhaust/ muffler shop make and fit this for about half the price of off the shelf.

A little bit of difference seen here, but it's much more noticeable in cabin and when giving it the berries

Thanks for replying. This is exactly what I needed to see. I'm assuming you also deleted the muffler in the back, correct?

Yeah they made these short pipes with tips as a direct bolt on replacement for the rear muffler.
I got to keep the muffler and should I need to, I can just swap it back over and I'm good to go.
i also got the ANC and ASE tuned off at the dealer.

A full cat back or downpipe back system would be deeper and throatier, but this was cost effective for me and doesn't throw codes or need a tune.

Excuse my ignorance... what's the ANC and ASE?
ANC - Active Noise Cancellation - helps to reduce road noise and keep things quiet inside.
ASE - Active Sound Enhancement - fake engine / exhaust sounds

Ha! that's interesting. I heard about the fake noise before but wasn't sure how it worked. So, if you left that alone, it means it would be too loud?

ASE is going to be sound pumped through the speakers to the interior.

So ANC is to make the cab quieter but Nissan (and other companies) know sports car drivers want to hear their exhaust so then ASE will pump fake exhaust sound through the speakers so you can hear it more inside the cab.

Yeah I think it's silly too. Pretty sure lots of companies do this now though.

I just wish there was a way to turn it off and on without going to the dealer.

Nice, simple, option for the street, good deep sounding! Said 'more noticeable in the cabin' meaning some drone at rpms or just when nailing the go pedal? Interior videos?

Maybe. It would probably sound like shit.

I'll stand corrected but my understanding on this platform, any change in air flow requires a tune to compensate/optimize said change.

Yes that's correct.
This does not change airflow, its removing a silencer.
