I absolutely love my 2024 Performance 6MT. It reminds me of my Dad's 72 Mach 1 when he used to drive and I would be in the back.

At about 5 months and 1,942 miles I don't have many issues to report. I own a '24 Performance M/T. Engine has ample power and torque. No driveline issues, some might say there is slop or movement in the shifter when getting on/off throttle.

I had one issue connecting my phone to use Apple Car Play while out of cell service. It was annoying and I tried multiple things until it finally worked. This took like 8-10 minutes to resolve itself.

There is a slight rattle behind the traction control button near the gauge cluster that is common. It's not too bad for me and sometimes isn't there. The noise level at highway speeds can also be loud, like hard to hold a conversation without elevating your voice. Or just turn the music up to 28.

I wish the seat backs would fold forward like in most coupes so that access to the storage compartments is easy. Also, unlocking once with the key fob or the door button only unlocks the driver door. Must press 2x for passenger door.

I've always beat the EPA ratings of 18 city / 24 highway, sometimes getting 27-28mpg on the highway. I think my worst tank was 23.?? mpg.

All this aside, I still think it's a great car and I really enjoy the Z.

I'm at 8k miles, no issues other than the previously mentioned mild dash rattle. Nissan's cheap interiors have a tendency to rattle over time. To be fair the rattle didn't increase until I installed coilovers and the trans/diff brace.

I went on a 550 mile trip not too long ago and it was hot as hell outside the whole trip. Hit 105 for about an hour of the drive. Gas milage was way better than I thought it would be cruising at 80MPH for about 8 hours in 95+ degree weather. Only filled up once and that was at the halfway point. It was about 275 miles out and 275 back. So just below half a tank and 275 miles is pretty good.

The Z just floats down the highway, I love it - great road-trip car. Mine is a 2024 Performance A/T.

I mean check out that engine temp too, that hot, driving that long in one day? Pretty solid car here.
