Hi everyone. I m excited to be joining the Z family. I am waiting for my manual performance in white to be delivered and already have my shortlist of items to purchase based on reading through the forums:

exhaust - either STILLEN competition or Nismo Track. Leaning towards stillen bc of the 2.5” pipes compared to 2.25 of the nismo

intake - Nismo intake. Looks factory, good for California.

fairlady z emblem - looks classy to me.

Nismo oil filler cap - gotta dress up the engine bay a little.

Nismo coolant expansion tank - is this actually available? A lot of sites say late delivery but you can purchase.

Nismo sway bars - staying more Nismo is appealing to me and would be great to put some cooling ducts on it for the brakes.

rear mud flaps - looks like a mini body kit and hopefully keeps the rear lower fender clean.

am I missing any of the basic stuff?

Looks like a great list. I was all set on buying an aftermarket exhaust, until a member here pointed out that the Automatic Z had a much better sounding and free flowing exhaust. I have a 2024 Manual and was lucky enough to find a take of AT exhaust and mid pipes, which I installed on my car, and it is like night and day, it sounds perfect. Also, I would look at the Stillen sways, they are just a bit stiffer than factory (all you need) and reuse the factory hardware. The Nismo are on backorder but have also had some issues with cracks.

I just got my car a few weeks ago and have been looking at all my options. Depending on where you live and how you drive, some say a heat exchanger is a worth first upgrade, then Intake and sways, or lowering springs. If you plan to do coilovers, some of the vendors suggest not installing sways to avoid an overly harsh stiff ride. Just some food for thought.

I think you should add:
Oil Catch can.

And if you plan on tracking:
Better suspension.
Two-piece rotors
Steel brake lines
Master cylinder brace
Transmission and rear differential brace

But other than that you're golden.👍

thanks for the feedback. I am tempted to get the AT exhaust but there arent many available at a price that makes sense considering I just need the rear section.

I am in norcal so the weather is pretty nice year round here. hoping the air to water cooler is adequate. Trying to keep it tame for now.

I probably wont track the car - maybe once or twice at the most.
