What are these lights/bars on the dash?

I RTFM, but it focuses on the "standard" dash layout.

Can anyone tell me what these are? (SEE MS PAINT with little circles and arrows.)

- The long stripe at the top.

- The tiny red line UNDER the fuel level.

The long stripe is like an F1 style meter for when you use manual mode like a rev meter. Not sure about the red line under the fuel level.

shift light at the top. you can configure it by changing your boost gauge on the left in this pic to upshift indicator.

red line below fuel gauge tells you when the warning light will be coming on.

Or driven a car that you've used up nearly all the fuel and the car then tells you, you're close to running on EMPTY?

Last Gran Turismo I played was on PS2!

The red line (I think) changes length depending on the gas mileage you are getting. I actually though it was an oil life meter..... Guess I need to keep my foot out of her to get the gas mileage up!

in saying that… I haven’t noticed that.

BUT

I know if I floor it or drive with a bit of spirit for a day or two, my millage or range til empty lowers… so when I fill up my tank to full… I have less mileage in my “full tank”

Say I drive nicely for a week, a full tank varies between 500 to 600km range to a tank…. But if I have fun during the week and fill up to full… my range is between 390 to 450kms.

those are the tire pressure G force and settings that you scroll up and down with the wheel on the left side of your steering wheel

I've been thinking my first mod will be to increase the capacity of the turbo boost pellet hopper. I think there's enough room to install a 10-pellet unit.

I went back to re-read the (2023) manual on this. It's really quite obscure. With such a functional dash, one might think Nissan would devote more space to explaining it. In an entirely different section of the manual than the section that talks about the dash, there's a pretty good description of the upshift indicator. Not sure if you saw that.

I just noticed, @Mugzilla, that you have what appears to be the outside air temp displayed in the lower right corner. I wonder if that's new in 2024. I don't have it on my 2023, and I wish I did.
