I’m sure there’s a reason it’s set up that way, but it’s interesting to me that the cooler inlet and outlet cross over. Seems simpler to have the cooler inlet closest to the outlet of the pump and the cooler outlet closest to the diff.
Regardless, very nice!!!
My guess is routing the hose to clear the exhaust. The exhaust is almost touching from this angle
Finally found some time to install the Nismo diff cooler I bought while on vacation in Japan.

Well made kit, everything fits together nicely and the OE style patch harness is a nice touch.

Why would they put a heat exchanger almost touching a muffler, and that far away? There’s nowhere else to put it?

Hood struts, some carbon bits, and the NISMO CAI system…what a pain but well worth it. Now just waiting for the HKS BOVs to arrive!

BTW for those looking to plug up some holes from front plate installs…bumperplugs.com is pretty legit for color matched.

I am so tempted to do get the Nismo CAI, but I promised myself on this car I would leave it stock for at least the first year. I know if I get a CAI, I will convince myself that I need a LDP, and of course then a tune.. and next thing you know I am pulling my motor to install new turbos.. Talk me out of it.. please.

It's a shame you had to.
Unfortunately I purchased her in HI but registered in FL. Sadly NISMO unlike other models don’t have a plate bracket but she’s whole again….somewhat lol.

I would go with the BOV dual ports instead to avoid future issues with the turbos
