I totally share your sentiment here!! I am stillThat is so cool! Honestly flabbergasted as to why they didn't promote this as something they'd do. The surprise is nice, don't get me wrong, but I think it's so mission critical to find other ways to set the Proto Spec apart outside of the aesthetics.
Yeah something like this would have been in order in my opinion. I like itFor my 1988 Special Edition 300zx the Canadian cars got these on the center console. The us cars were never numbered. I don't know why they make some of these decisions for different regions

Hopefully Nissan engraved something similar on line 1 for TJ Hunt.First thought was this is so cool. Jealous for sure.
Second thought was if I bought a used one from a flipper, I’d engrave “the a**hole” under their name. Lol
@Marshall58of240 .. I gotta agree with you!!!First thought was this is so cool. Jealous for sure.

I agree with the Plate and numbering. I suppose with the Initial Z rollout gone wrong they are catching up by doing these things afterwards. How long between the time of purchase and when the box arrived?
I was really surprised Nissan did not badge these cars like Shelby does. Should be a small plate engraved with limited Edition 58 of 240 - something simple would have gone a long way IMHO.
