Im in need of new injectors, ive been trying to get my Z on the road for months now. Basically, the injectors were stuffed not surprising due to the recall but my mechanic suggested to just get new ones in. I agreed to it not knowing that getting the 185s were going to be a pain and stupidly the mechanic shop threw the old ones out even before knowing the new ones worked nor did i ask them to throw them out, so now I cant even get them simply refurbished.
Unsure about the us but in aus we have multiple companies advertising "compatible" injectors for the Z31 specifically that are in fact... not to spec, including advertising the 256cc injectors as *compatible with the VG30E* (Which is definitely not). Anyway, the lowest it comes new is 205cc so 20cc off the mark. Has anyone got any suggestions to getting the 185cc hose tails or with anyone with experience know the 205s could get away with it? Im trying to avoid having to get it nistuned due to where I live as there really isnt really any shops near by with the know how or confidence to fiddle with old Nissans
(Edit: forgot to mention, they had put in the 256 injectors in the Z and it didnt even run for over a month because the lazy c**ts waited so long to order and fit a manifold gasket before even being able to test run it, by then they already threw out the old injectors without my knowledge... fml)
