Another "Which oil for what type of use" thread

Maybe a little off topic, but relevant. I'm preparing my car for the summer season (Canadian) and i checked the oil. This is "Stock" Nissan Dealership Oil - got it changed at 1400km / 870mi (after break-in). I'm sitting at roughly 6000km / 3730mi and my oil is quite dark.... Nothing overly...

Need help in regards to modding

I'd recommend adding a Cat Back Exhaust (CBE). Depending on which one you go with (so many on the market, some are subtle increase compared to others), it'll definitely bump the loudness of the car. Overall, if reliability is key and no interest in performance gains. Sticking with just the CBE...

    Nismo Z Brake Pad Size?

Good write-up, and i agree with the confidence of OEM pads. I have Project Mu SS Brake Lines all around, and they definitely helped with Feel. P.Mu was doing R&D into the front brake pad (rear is the same as performance and they have the size), hopefully getting an update here in the coming...

    Tomei Extreme Type-D Dual Exhaust

It's nowhere near the same tone as the 370/350/VQ engine Much more classy and contained, with a satisfying sound on WOT Mix in my NISMO CAI, it's all the right sounds. I'll be putting full catted DPs after warranty (next spring) and I agree with the <3in pipe I'll run that for a season and may...

    Tomei Extreme Type-D Dual Exhaust

Great exhaust I have the Tomei USA full catback Not obnoxious at all. I'd say it does make the exhaust louder overall and a cold start is a little loud, but tones down quickly thereafter. WOT is bliss!!! I got the Tomei USA on release, honestly the TI is well made and has held up extremely...

    Nismo Blue Mirror

Thank you Hubert. I read that the adhesive isn't the best and will look for alternatives. Could you confirm that this is the right part number for our RZ34, 9636S-RNE20? Also, how are they in terms of reducing glare?

Hello all! Happy New Year 🍾🎉 Wish you each the best for 2025 ✨ I'm interested in getting a film for my mirror Mainly to minimize glare during night drives Given the car is low and every car is a massive tall SUV, I'm consistently getting blinded on my side mirrors Doing some.research, I...

To those with catch cans, how much oil gets "caught"?

Mishimoto baffled can 4500kms / ~2500 miles Can was like ~40% filled. Tomei full cbe I get a decent amount of soot on my exhaust tips, but I do tend to push the car hard on back roads... Unsure if that would be reason for more soot Relatively easy to clean during my typical car wash.
