I hand wash my Z and use only Adam’s products - Adam’s Mega Foam car wash applied with an Adam’s Foam Cannon for the body and wheels, a simple garden hose rinse, and then an Adam’s Air Cannon Jr. for drying with warm, clean air and their microfiber drying towels where needed. I hand apply and...
If it helps for comparison, in May 2023, I paid $54,100 (MSRP/Window Sticker) for a Performance 9AT in Brilliant Silver with the contrasting black roof. I had the dealer add ~$1500 in accessories (color matched mud guards, under carriage lighting, and wheel locks for the stock Rays), and was...
Awesome pics, thanks for reminding me you were here this summer - other than yours and mine, I do not think there are any other Z’s in KC, but I would love to be proven wrong! I will check out the KC Z Club!
I had PPF installed on the front bumper/side panels, lights, and partial hood to protect from bugs, rocks, etc., window tinting to KS legal limit, and then ceramic coated with Adams Polishes Advanced Ceramic with Graphene. Car looks amazing, sheds water with ease, and is protected for a long...
I am having the same lurching issue and it started at a couple hundred miles, but has not really gotten worse. I am at ~1,500 miles and plan to make a service appt at 2,500 miles to get it checked out.
Also, have the same parking sensor issue - it just randomly goes off at a stop light or in...
My Z is the only one I have seen in KC since I took delivery in May - dealers here still do not seem to be getting any allocation. That’s fine with me, I get a ton of looks and comments on the cool retro styling from Z and other sports car enthusiasts!
Keeping mine stock - if a simply AWD upgrade were possible, I would consider it, but I love mine just like it is - and it will likely hold it’s value for a while without mods!
I made that decision on mine - switched from the Boulder Gray to Silver and could not be happier with my decision - the Brilliant Silver is just such a classic color that really looks awesome on this car!
Agree with your comments - I’m just glad to have a new Performance Z at this point after nearly a 2 year wait - the new Nismo’s will be awesome, but I would guess it will be 2+ years before we see any on the street, and unscrupulous dealers will take advantage of the demand disruptions and add...
A couple of updates - windows tinted and PPF added to to the front bumper, headlights and mirrors (If you are in or near KC, consider Jon Prue and his team at Cornerstone Tint - they are car nuts and do meticulous work). Approaching 500 miles and while it’s still breaking in, I love this car!
Congrats and welcome the club - you won’t regret your decision to by a Z! Looks like we have the exact same car - got mine in MN for MSRP, so very similar story. I agree with the other responses, plan to change my oil every 5k given this is a sports car not an SUV or sports sedan! Enjoy!
Just took delivery of my new 2023 Z! I have been following this forum for 18+ months and my story is very similar to several others - 30 years ago I owned a 1990 300ZX (red w/ black leather & T-Tops) and have been looking for a sports car now that my kids are out of college. I was pleasantly...
