Not sure either. Nissan only states in their VIN coding system documentation that they assign numeric characters from 000001 to 999999, but they don't specify if it's sequential. As another example, BMW specifically states that the last 6 digits of their VIN is a sequential production number.Not exactly sure how VIN nomenclature works, but if the VIN is JN1BZ4EH5NM300077, the bold number being the production #, that means there are 77 production cars so far?
Any updates?There was a guy on Supramkv that was able to pull up some info on preproduction J29s with the VINs. I'll ask him again and report back if there is any progress.

BSadly I think the VIN is a dead end. I reached out some of my friends at dealers and DMVs and no one was able to find anything useful.![]()
