Actually it is a 50k car ,taking inflation into account it works out to just over 50k if you bought a performance in 2017 at 40kI understand all of that, I was the main one preaching that same gospel when the proto was revealed. Price is ultimately what's killing this car IMO. A lot of it's shortcomings would be forgiven if it were the cheaper option. That's why the 350Z sold as well as it did - pricing (and, lack of competition at the time)
35, 40, 45 - Sport, Performance, Nismo - Just 5k over the Z34's pricing.
That's personally my main frustration with this car. It's truly not a 50k+ car, at all, period.
Not in Performance.
Not in Interior.
Not in Chassis.
Not in Features.
There's no reason at all this car costs as much as it does.
