Hey everyone, looking to lower my Z not super slammed but low enough to fit some nice aftermarket wheels without looking like a monster truck. Main question is ive seen you can get coilovers that convert the rear to a true strut/spring set up instead of them being split like stock. Anyone do this and how does it ride? Was looking at maybe the bc coils but open to everyone’s opinions and suggestions i quite enjoy the stock ride quality just hate the monster truck look lol. Thanks in advance.

I have Silvers 2 way true rear coilovers on my Nismo. Suspension is very subjective. Basically if you like the stock ride then coilovers are not for you. Just get a set of lowering springs and call it a day. Coiloves are geared more for performance vs aesthetics. They are noisier, ride harder and must be set up properly to get the most out of them.

If you're not looking to track your Z, a divorced coilover setup will be just fine. Lots of good options out there, all depends on budget. Fortune Auto will always get my vote.

Megan true rear coilovers MR-CDK-NRZ34-EZII. i'd consider Megan's mid-tier. 15 way adj dampening & ride height. doesn't break the bank at $799

i purchased these. i myself will not be racing. it fits my needs. i have yet to install them. im installing Stance cups from StanceParts.com
