is the number that's shown in any direction the g-force that was achieved? or is the g-force that was achieved a tick below what's displayed?

for example in the post above - was 1.2 and 1.1 achieved? or was something lower achieved, such as 1.1 and 1.0 respectively? it can be a bit tricky with the outer ring showing the number and the red line not touching the outer ring.

I saw 1.1g today but of course forgot to take a photo before turning the car off.

Yes, I understand the directions, more so just wondering about the number displayed. What is shown is what was achieved right?

yeah it saves the highest number you reach until you turn the car off. that is what the outside numbers are but the lines are real time as you are driving.

Finally did a competition day in the new Z and pretty happy with the outcome. I managed to hit an instantaneous 1.89G with a sustained G around 1.5 at a banked turn we call "the bowl" at Streets of Willow, running counter clockwise. Data was retrieved from my AIM Solo 2 DL data logger which seemed to be pretty accurate to within a few hundredths of a G.

Click the screenshot below to see the action and start it from the beginning if you wanna see the whole thing.
