We may all really own a real lifeCome next yearā¦
This. I believe the news of Nissan's demise is premature. I as well plan my Z to be a "keeper" that my son gets at my demise.Bummer if Nissan goes under (I don't see it happening quickly if they do) but keeping the Z for a long time regardless of what happens.
If they manage to pull this off, this could be an opportunity to build the cars in the US to reduce tariffs, although that would also require that the suppliers follow suit. I hope this is not the end.even if Nissan turns it around there have been rumors for about a year the Z is on its way out for a few reasons. one is starting in July of 2026 in Japan you cannot sell a car over 71 db for noise regulations. this doesnt have a direct effect on the US market but would be harder to justify the Z just being sold in one market
There's gotta be ways around that.even if Nissan turns it around there have been rumors for about a year the Z is on its way out for a few reasons. one is starting in July of 2026 in Japan you cannot sell a car over 71 db for noise regulations. this doesnt have a direct effect on the US market but would be harder to justify the Z just being sold in one market
18 seconds in was enough of that video for me.

I would agree, but Honda certainly can utilize Nissan. The current Civic/CRV/Prelude/etc platform is a very good one, other than their steering gear debacles. The Prelude has the Type Rās dual axis front suspension design. I think the Type R is going hybrid.Honda certainly doesnāt need Nissan.
