Great choice!

Install is not too difficult, but yes definitely easier to maneuver on a lift than jack stands.
Have the track cat-back installed over the weekend, just did 350 miles on it. Crazy paradigm shift going from silent stock M/T to an actual exhaust sound track. It's mean but makes me hungry for downpipes to mate them to.

Downpipes really add the next level. Im super happy with mine paired with ams downpipes.

Here are some dirty pics of the car with the AWE Track exhaust. Loving it, now that I have the track cat back I had to buy downpipes.

Look at the size of these tips!! They're huge, lol. Might get smaller ones to be a little less ostentatious?!

We designed them to properly fill and best compliment the valence, a smaller tip would have just not cut it.

Yea leaving too much room where the stock curves are wouldn't look nearly as good imo.

I am planing to get the AWE Track exhaust but have some questions:

- How much does the AWE Track exhaust weight? I am wondering if the 3" AWE Track exhaust might make the Z more heavier. Stainless steel metal is quite heavy.

- Do you really gain horsepower when you go with a 3" AWE Track exhaust or do you lose horsepower? I was reading somewhere on YouTube that if you go with anything larger than a 1.75" pipe diameter, you will lose horsepower. I believe the stock exhaust for the Z is about 1.5" in diameter and it was engineered that way for max power or horsepower.

- Anyone know if the AWE Track exhaust creates a drone sound during highway traveling?

- Is the AWE Track exhaust emissions compliant in the USA?

Thanks!

You can check our the site right here for dyno sheets under performance specs.

With stock downpipes, the Track Editon was not too rowdy on the highway, but if you are concerned about drone, highly recommend the Touring Edition which has our drone canceling 180 Tech.

We also offer conversion kits so if you do go with Track and want to add those 180 tech resonators down the line, you can do so without having to change your whole system.

Can you get a Touring and then add Track?
