Has anyone else got poorly preforming low beams? I can't see more than a few meters in front of me and when going 100km/h (60mph) it's kinda jarring that I won't see something non-reflective up ahead.

Is there a way to adjust them to be higher?

High beams are great though.

Hmm something seems off because i think the low beams are quite bright on our cars. Any loose connections or damaged wires?

Based on your description, make sure you have the actual low-beams on, and not just the daytime running lamps.

I do a crap load of night time driving as I'm a night shift worker, always seem to drive to work in the dark and home in the dark. Pretty rural area, so always on the lookout for wildlife. I hope the headlights are decent, haha.

Definitely is the low beam, it's switched to auto mode. I'll try get a photo to show what I mean. I can see everything fine within a few meters, it's just beyond that there's a definite cut off and darkness.

I live in the country as well, and don’t seem to have a problem with seeing down the road. I hope that you be able to remedy your situation soon! 😊

Why not use your warranty and have the dealership inspect their adjustment of the headlights?

That's a great idea actually. I have a recall for a loose front bumper due (Australia). I will get them to inspect that at the same time!

You're welcome. Maybe the tech missed checking the headlight level during the PDI.

Mine were aimed down pretty badly. I was able to adjust them up very easily. The adjustment screw is accessible behind the front of the fender to hood seal, 10mm ratcheting wrench works best.

I've mentioned this a while ago, the lights in my old 370z, which were HID, seemed a lot better

Update: Dealership was able to adjust them and they are working great now.

Thank you for the pictures!

I had to adjust mine also. I just turned them up a little bit, as shown in the photos. Now I can see much better!

Thanks to this thread, I was able to adjust my headlights higher. Mine were way too low and atrocious on dirt road areas and unlit residential streets. I suspect that either Japan doesn't require the headlights to be as high as America, or the factory has different standards and the dealership was supposed to adjust them, or something.

Either way, they felt dangerous. I'm glad the adjustment is easy to get to. I have examples of the low and adjusted lights, the best I could do while driving lol.
