The good news with the Z is its' engine and parts are used in quite a few other Nissan / Infiniti vehicles.Yeah, really cool to be "rare" unless you're trying to keep one 10 years after they're no longer made.
There will be parts shortages, both new and used, if not enough Zs are around. Not going to be fun.
And I highly doubt 10 years from now most Z enthusiasts will have options on the new car market to upgrade to.
On aside, the first 2 years of the Z are pretty disappointing. Only 300-ish sold? Ouch.
I hope the numbers keep going up, if Nissan would offer more of the affordable Sport trim, and possibly a Sport+ variant that is basically a Sport with the LSD and Akebonos, I could see them selling a bit more. Currently, making mostly $53k+ versions of a small 2 seater in a poor economy doesn't bode well for overall sales.
