For the heck of it I checked my Mishimoto catch can after about 300 miles/two weeks of mostly grandma driving with some very nice launch controls sprinkled in throughout.

Just a tiny bit of clean oil accumulation. The baffle and filter were very wet with clean oil as well.

Just finished up a couple mods this weekend. Installed Z1 front and rear sway bars and also did an oil change to make the switch to 5W-30 now that I’m tuned.

The sway bars made a huge difference. Body roll is way more controlled now, especially in corners and quick transitions. The car feels much tighter without being harsh. Highly recommend this upgrade if you’re still on stock suspension.

The front sway bar install was super easy, no issues there. The rear was a bit more of a pain. I had to remove the rear chassis brace to get it done, and while reinstalling it I managed to snap a bolt while tightening it back down. I’ll need to drill it out and order a replacement, but everything feels secure for now and it should be fine in the meantime.

The oil change was straightforward, just moved to 5W-30 for a little more protection with the tune and added power. Solid weekend overall and definitely feeling the improvements.

@NorthSaltJake how do you like the quick jack system?
I really like it. Super convenient for oil changes, suspension work, and tire swaps. Way faster and more stable than using jack stands, and it stores easily when not in use. Definitely one of the better garage upgrades I’ve made.

@NorthSaltJake what model is that. Next time they go on sale I’m getting them.
I went with the 7000TLX since I also have a truck and a WRX. Wanted something that could handle everything. After measuring carefully, the Z is a tight fit on it, but it works with a couple of inches to spare.

Don’t be like me. I snapped the thread in half leaving me an inch left of thread. The damn OEM knob was glued to the damn thing. I’d not recommend to change it unless you really have to. The shift knob feels really good.
