Zacustech Louvers - at this point custom made & sent in semi-gloss paint. I decided they looked to complicated for me to install, plus I wanted them painted to match the car, so I had them painted and installed by "Rolling Art" in Scottsdale, AZ. I must say that they were reluctant to take the job because of previous unreliable construction, but after previewing these, they were encouraged by the fitment and agreed to go for it.

They have bare aluminum strips along the sides so that they can be attached to the rear window using super strong 3M double sided tape. Also included were tiny stick on rubber bumpers to attach to the center of the window lined up with each louver to keep them rattling against the window.

I am very happy with the outcome, the fitment is great, and no rattling. The louver cost was around $750, labor cost around $600. I know I was taking a chance, but it worked out, and gives me the last touch of the 70's look of the original 240.

I like it! I put louvers on my 300ZX back in the day. I'm not sure if I'd put them on the 2023 Z but at least I can see that it would look good. Thanks for posting the pics.

Looks amazing, congrats.
I'd be all over this if they were plastic

The louvre slots don't look quite horizontal. Does that affect visibility much?

Awesome - 80’s Z28 louvers are back… un-@#$%^&*-believable. i never would have bought louvers in the 80’s, but now this might just be the ultimate throw back accessory for the Z

I was thinking about getting them but I wanted to know if are you able to clean the glass under louvre?

This works on a black Z. I would say you need to have a black Z or at least a color with the two tone roof to pull this off
Yeah ive been eyeing these since they were teased a couple years back. Im hoping they will look good on my white two tone.

Little hesitant on that fit and finish tho. Not sure I want the hassle of sending out for work.

I'm not sure about this guy's louvres but the aftermarket ones I used on the 300ZX turbo had a stationary black thin frame that stayed glued to the back window. I'd just move 2 latches to lift up the louvres.

Cleaning will be a slight problem, but I plan on using a good duster with glass cleaner to go in there!

I think with the black wheels, giant black grill, black rear diffuser and black rear center plate, the black louvers would look great on any color Z personally. Especially muted colors like white, black and gray. Regardless of if it is two-tone top'd or not.

Yes to this, kudos for taking it on. Do you know how much the part weighs?
