  1. My first ever Miata!

Nice. I treat it the other way. My Z is my main driver and the 124 is the weekend track car.
  2. 2024 OHLINS suspension tuned by NISMO JP (53110‐RPZ45)

Sakebomb will build you a set. They already have done a Z and are an in house manufacturer along with shock dyno. They have been asking me to use my Nismo for further test fitting. I have Sakebomb Ohlins on my other cars. https://www.sakebombgarage.com/
  3. NISMO Z Motorsports 2025 Programs

That is almost more disheartening to know the cars are off to a solid start this season. Happy for them but bummed I can not see it in person. Was planning to go to the Sonoma opening round to support the team. Guess I am not going now.
  4. 2024 OHLINS suspension tuned by NISMO JP (53110‐RPZ45)

How much do these cost? I'm not seeing a price. I can get ohlins locally, but I kind of like the idea of nismo version. I found this but it says unavailable. https://nizmopartsplug.com/products/nismo-rz34-z-coilover-suspension-system?variant=48642874999061
  5. Heat exchanger question.

I think it is the other way around. NISMO parts in the US are aftermarket vendor parts rebranded with a factory warranty. The parts in the NISMO are actually from NISMO in Japan.
  6. Battery Re-Location

The battery is behind the engine against the firewall. That is not a bad location. Relocating to the back would put it inside the compartment so you would need to do something to protect it and that would suck up space with I think little return. I would just go with lightweight battery if you...
  7. Nissan Exec says 12-14 months to survive

I am rooting for a S16 and S2k twins with the Honda K20. Just like the Supra and Z4 twins. One convertible, one hardtop.
  8. Gamers gather here

You can drive a 24 Nismo Z in Assetto Corsa. I use VR and it shows what I see on the monitor.
  9. Anybody in Oakland / San Francisco…?

Just saw this. I am in SF/Oakland. Lots of good driving in the area and lots of cars to drive on those roads. This is from yesterday.
  10. Gears and Gasoline review at VIR

Was this tested in the same configuration as what Car & Driver uses for the lightning lap? The NISMO Z seemed to do well in that test. It was .6 second off the manual 3.0 Supra. https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a46575369/2024-nissan-z-nismo-lightning-lap-2024/
  11. Is new Z handling THAT BAD?

The balance and suspension design is fundamentally there. The rest is tuning. I don't know about the regular Z, but the Nismo handles well.

  13. My New Z Nismo's first track day!

Next time you head up let me know. I go as far south as Buttonwillow. I used to live in Santa Monica and spent most my time at Willow Springs and Buttonwillow.
  14. My New Z Nismo's first track day!

Are you in socal or NorCal?
  15. 2024 Z NISMO Reviews

https://www.roadandtrack.com/reviews/a61791233/2024-nissan-z-nismo-review/ Thought this was well said.
  16. Nissan Z competes in GT4 America: 2024 Season

Been watching every race this season. Road America was an entertaining race as really all of them have been. The Z has strong power and is very competitive always with a chance to win. Especially with Neudorf in Techsport #23.
  17. 2024 Z NISMO Reviews

I think it's a niche buyer for sure. But I guess I got that niche. I was a cross shopper and the Nismo Z was the least likely purchase for me. I had a deposit on a Lotus Emira I canceled.
  18. Questionnaire about mileage and use

Logically driving more is maximizing ROI of ownership. I am not however maximizing ROI as I have three cars to drive and take the train to work. That is illogical. I am getting close to 2k miles after three months. Most of that is from two road trips just to get break in miles. It was taking...
