official power and torque numbers are the only puzzle piece missing but the number I hear over and over is 420PS (415HP)

the NISMO also gets a radiator change and two cooler where the extended grill openings are

The removal of electronics from the Recaros is expected tbh, as it was the same deal for the Z34 NISMO and these seats appear to be the same parts with new upholstering.

I personally see that as a benefit though because it means lighter weight seats, which is more important in a performance trim like the NISMO; Plus how often will you really need to adjust the seat? Usually a ā€œset it n forget itā€ type deal. And with tires that arenā€™t rated for cold weather driving anyway, seat heaters wouldnā€™t be necessary either.

If the front brakes really are still the 4-pot units that would be bit disappointing, as they certainly appeared to be larger 6-pot calipers in the spy shots n promo vid; the rears looked like the same 2-pots tho. Regardless, Id prob want to switch them to Z1Mā€™s Track BBK anyway šŸ˜† which appears to be just a rebranded version of the R35 Brembo setup

I think they are 4 pot just because apparently the screenshots are these Google translated dealer materials from Japan

Not sure the brand or details on them

There are such things as winter tires you know,so it would have been nice if they were heated.

These details also confirm the exhaust isn't changed from the performance

No NISMO branded engine cover listed and I didn't see any mention of red stitching on the interior just the steering wheel with alcantara accents

Of course those are an option, but considering this is a high output RWD sports car with tightened suspension and the tires are integral part of its performance, seems counterintuitive to swap in inferior winter tires. Iā€™d imagine their market research shows most buyers of this type of trim feel the same

Also the Zs weight is already on the heavy side so again any opportunities to cut that number down is a plus.

The added weight would make no difference in the performance and there are alot of higher performance cars that have them. It's just Nissan cheaping out again.

the dunlop sport maxx version was apparently designed just for this NISMO Z. so my guess is that might be using the NR1 technology off the GTR NISMO ( NR1 was designed just for GTR NISMO) but a non runflat version

this NISMO will still have room for improvement like adding a NISMO track exhaust and CAI engine cover and strut bar from the accessory list

im assuming the NISMO will get thicker sways from the factory

this is what we need. the 2024 GTR NISMO JDM only seats.

no joke these probably cost as much as a sport model Z. the previous versions before this redesign were like $30K

Oh hell ya, Iā€™ve seen those before and theyā€™re magnificent šŸ˜, yeh tho with that CF shell I donā€™t even wanna think about what theyā€™d cost through a dealer šŸ˜¬

Was it ever reported why these seats werenā€™t offered in the USDM cars? No airbags maybe?

These sort of skeleton carbon shell style are new for 2024 but the previous GTR NISMO seats were basically OEM recaro SP-X with carbon backs and they didn't get DOT approved because something to do with side seat air bag not being able to burst through the shell properly. I got that answer right from a top Nissan USA exec when I was up at the NY auto show a few years back. I accepted the answer but at the same time Porsche has almost identical seats in some of their cars in the US. But yeah never approved for the US for some reason.

Yeh I was confused why they couldnā€™t bring those seats here considering not only Porsche but McLaren and other supercar OEMs sell cars here with similar CF race seats šŸ¤”

Thanks for the info šŸ‘šŸ»
