I had the same concern about dust getting through, and I found that some covers just don’t do the job well enough. I ended up checking out klyoutdoor.com, and their covers seem to have a snug fit with solid material that keeps dust off. The breathability is decent too, so there’s no moisture buildup underneath. If you’re looking for something that offers better protection, it might be worth considering.
