Thus the orange flag for me…I'm so disappointed that the 9 inch is not even an added extraSo it looks like the enhanced mode will be useless if you've got the 8" display.
@Dan_Passe this might be a shot on the dark/difficult since the process is already underway, but would you be willing to crowdsource some preferred reviewers from the lot of us? We’ve had several threads with some of our favorites on here, I would imagine it’d be easy enough for us to consolidate via poll for example and relay to you within a pretty quick timeframe.A very good questions that I'm working on daily. Soon-ish.
I thought so, from the start I doubt Nissan will invest in a diff formulation just for the Z. Thanks for confirming, Dan. We can compare up-close to other Nissan products. For paint codes - Boulder Gray Pearl - KBY - is the same paint code as Rogue and other Nissan vehicles.
I don't think the three different modes are in the center cockpit display but the 12.3 instrument cluster display over the steering wheel. So, regardless of what infotainment screen size you have, you still have Navi in front of you.So it looks like the enhanced mode will be useless if you've got the 8" display.
No it won't be in front of you, the nearly empty IP display will be in front of you in extended mode if you have nav running via carplay or AA. Nav will be to the side, out of line of sight, on the 8" screen.I don't think the three different modes are in the center cockpit display but the 12.3 instrument cluster display over the steering wheel. So, the below statement applies only to a Nissan branded and subscription based navigation feature? No it won't be in front of you, the nearly empty IP display will be in front of you in extended mode if you have nav running via carplay or AA. "Enhanced" mode pushes the tachometer and speedometer to the edges of the display, giving more space in the center for a larger navigation map and information to be displayed.

Functions will be different however if your looking for a good basis on things take a good look at platinum pathfinders or Rogues as they feature the 12.3 inch display. Certain features I'm sure will be special to the Z however the general integrations and features will generally be similar. So, the below statement applies only to a Nissan branded and subscription based navigation feature?

\@Dan_Passe Hey Dan, any news on when we can expect the Nismo version?
Got it. ? Thanks!\
NISMO version? I don't recall talking about a NISMO version...
Let's get the first car out and announce all the stuff that we need to (which yes, we know, is a lot), and then we can talk about other iterations if possible.
that's a good question. Unfortunately I don't know exact warranty length until just about start of sale. Typical Nissan warranty can be found here; https://www.nissanusa.com/owners/ownership/warranty.htmlDan: I own a Infiniti Q60. I usually take it to my Infiniti dealer for service. Mine is the oddball with the VQ37. Twice now I've seen VR30 powered Infiniti Qs with their drivetrain removed to get to the turbos. My service advisor told me it's fairly common warranty issue because the turbos can fail early and dropping the engine is the best way to get at the turbos.
I then realized Nissan typically provides a shorter warranty period than Infiniti. Yikes, I think that might be an expensive repair on my own dime.
Will the Z be offered with the same longer warranty as the Infiniti or Titan? Please say "yes"
