I’m interested in hearing you car, and seeing a db reading. I’m eyeing the Tomei exhaust and am curious how loud, it may be. Thank you in advance. I’m following your build.
It's no where near as loud as the tomei on a 350Z or a 370z, haven't recorded anything yet but one of these days I'll get it recorded

A stiffer rear bar plus stiffer coilovers is a great recipe for inducing snap oversteer in the Z34 and RZ34.

Most of the Z track rats run a very soft rear bar (stock or slightly stiffer) or no bar at all.

The end result is usually something like this.

That was my first track day on coilovers, with the stock rear sway bar still attached. Needless to say, but that bar came off immediately after that.
Whoa boy!! Killer massive oversteer at SoWS, almost all corners. For sure with loads more power on your modded RZ34 keep that rear soft! Hope to see ya soon, I'm fixing brake balance issues on my RB Z, then be out with SV again.

Are you using the Ohlins for the 370Z? Any change in spring rate?

Ohlins are on the RZ34, spring rates are 11.6k front, 10.7k rear. The 370Z track car is currently on rebuilt/revalved Powertrix Ultra Lites running 16k front and 14k rear.

I guess I was wondering if these were custom spec Ohlins or something else? I don't see Ohlins available off the shelf for the RZ34.

I am talking to Sakebomb abut a set of their Ohlins.

That spring rate seems pretty similar to the swift springs. Just an observation. I am guessing it is livable for the street.

They're not custom spec, but they are JDM. These are Ohlins DFV tuned by Mines, I got the ones with the Hyperco springs.

The fittment was fine? I know chassis are fundamentally the same - thought there might be some slight differences.
Fitment was exactly as I would expect it to be on a 370z.

Oh hell yeah! Hows your sitting position vs stock? I considered aftermarket so i could sit a bit lower. Being 6'3" my head scrapes the roof with a hat on if i sit straight up lol.
You definitely sit lower with these, I'm 5'8 so it's enough of a drop to make looking over the dash a challenge.
